Zoom

Generate Zoom meeting links for sessions directly from Gleo, with the link landing in the calendar invite automatically.

If your team runs sessions on Zoom, connecting Zoom to Gleo means you don't have to swap into Zoom every time you create a session. Generate the meeting link inline, and it lands in your published session, the prep page, and (if Calendar is connected) the calendar invite — all in one go.

What today's integration covers

Today, the Zoom integration is focused on meeting link generation. Deeper conferencing flows — in-Gleo meeting controls, post-meeting recording capture, transcript pull-through — are on the roadmap. See Integrations roadmap.

What you can do now:

  • Generate a fresh Zoom meeting link from inside the session creation / edit flow.
  • Have that link populate the session's meeting field automatically.
  • Have it land in the calendar event when the session is published (if you've connected your Calendar).

What you'll do in Zoom directly, for now: meeting recording management, post-call summaries, breakout configuration, anything that happens during the call.

Walkthrough

  1. 1

    Connect Zoom ~1 min

Sidebar → Integrations → Zoom → Connect. Authorise in Zoom; you'll be redirected back when complete.

  2. 2

    Create or edit a session

In the session form, the meeting-link field will offer Zoom as an option. Pick Generate Zoom link; a fresh meeting is created on your Zoom account and the link is dropped into the field.

  3. 3

    Publish

When you publish the session, the Zoom link is part of the session's published page. If Calendar is connected, the link is also written into the calendar event so attendees see it on the invite.

  4. 4

    Verify

Open the published session and confirm the Zoom link is shown. If Calendar is connected, open the calendar event from your provider and check the link is in the description / location field too.

Other video providers

Google Meet and Microsoft Teams are on the roadmap; until then, you can paste a meeting link manually into the session's meeting field if you use a different provider. See Integrations roadmap for the current shortlist and order.

Disconnecting

Disconnect from Sidebar → Integrations → Zoom → Disconnect. Existing Zoom meeting links inside published sessions remain — they're owned by your Zoom account, not by the integration. New sessions won't be able to generate Zoom links until you reconnect.

Tips & pitfalls

One link per session, generated fresh. Each session generates a new Zoom meeting rather than reusing a personal meeting room. This is intentional — it keeps recordings, attendees, and chat history scoped to the session — but means you can't host two Gleo sessions on the same Zoom URL.

Calendar + Zoom is the highest-leverage combination. Connect Calendar first, then Zoom — that way every published session ships a calendar invite with a working Zoom link in one click.
