Getting Started

Welcome to Gleo

What Gleo is, what changes for you when you adopt it, and how to find your way around these docs.

The way teams turn ideas into outcomes is changing.

The strongest teams don't rely on one-off workshops, scattered notes, and individual expertise. They build repeatable ways of working that can be refined, reused, and scaled.

Gleo helps you turn those ways of working into playbooks.

If you're a facilitator, manager, consultant, coach, or advisor, these docs will help you design, run, and improve playbooks that deliver consistent outcomes.

What changes with Gleo

Without Gleo, every engagement starts from scratch. Preparation varies, agendas drift, decisions get lost, and valuable knowledge stays locked inside individuals or teams.

With Gleo, you design a playbook once, run it consistently, capture what works, and improve it over time.

Instead of repeating the same process for every client, project, or team, you create a repeatable system that others can run and improve.

The two workspaces

Most of Gleo revolves around two core areas:

You create playbooks in Studio and run them through Active Playbooks. Together, they form the core workflow of Gleo.

Four key concepts

Most of the platform is built around four core concepts.

Playbook

A structured process made up of phases, sessions, and activities.

Session

A meeting, workshop, review, or working session with preparation and follow-up.

Pre-work

Activities participants complete before a session.

Theme

Branding applied to participant-facing experiences, including colours, logos, and typography.

How the docs are organised

The documentation is divided into ten categories. The first four cover the core Gleo workflow, while the remaining sections focus on specific features and reference material.

Choose a starting point

You don't need to read the documentation from start to finish.

A recommendation

For your first experience with Gleo, separate design from delivery.

Spend one session learning Playbook Studio, then come back later to run a playbook. Learning each workflow independently makes the platform much easier to understand.
