Reference and Concepts

What's coming next

A short, candid summary of what's announced but not shipped — across Studio, Runtime, and Integrations.

This page is a candid snapshot of what's announced but not yet shipped. It's deliberately short — for the full Integrations roadmap, see Integrations roadmap.

This page is reviewed quarterly. Last reviewed: May 2026. Anything described here may slip, change, or be cut entirely — read it as direction, not commitment.

In Studio

The Studio team is focused on three things in the next quarter:

  • Cross-phase session moves. Today, moving a Session Template between phases requires a few clicks. We're working on drag-and-drop across phase boundaries with smarter snap-back behaviour for variables and references that depended on the old position.
  • Multiplayer annotations. Collaborative comment threads on the canvas itself — pinned to specific phases, session templates, or activities. Designed for design-time review, not runtime conversation.
  • Agent banners. When an AI assistant has an in-flight run against a template, Studio will show a banner so collaborators can see what's being changed and by whom — and join, pause, or undo it.

In runtime (Active Playbooks)

On the runtime side, the focus is depth rather than new surfaces:

  • Deeper analytics. Better roll-ups across sessions in a playbook — completion rates, sentiment patterns from prep responses, time-to-decision on key activities.
  • Additional task types. A handful of new pre-work and in-session task types, including richer rating and ranking primitives, plus light AI-assisted summarisation.
  • More public-share modes. New presets for what guests can see when a session is shared publicly — useful for board-readouts and client-facing summaries that should hide internal notes.

In integrations

The integrations roadmap moves on its own cadence; the highlights to watch:

  • Forge Canvas — a visual workspace collaboration surface in Forge, designed to sit alongside Gleo playbooks and absorb the kind of free-form thinking that doesn't belong inside a structured session.
  • Deeper MCP coverage — additional MCP tools for the AI assistants that read and write Gleo. Aimed at making "ask Claude to draft a playbook" or "ask Cursor to summarise this week's sessions" reliable enough for daily use.
  • Additional video providers — beyond the current set, with parity on calendar invites and recording capture.

The full roadmap (with status flags) lives at Integrations roadmap.

How to stay current

Three places to look:

  • Gleo news in the Help menu — release notes when things ship.
  • This page — re-read quarterly; we update it on the same cadence.
  • The Forge changelog — for everything happening under Gleo: workspace features, identity, and the Tech Accelerators platform.
