Getting Started
Tour the app
Make every navigation surface discoverable in under two minutes.
There are four ways to get around Gleo. Learn these once and you'll always know where to find things.
Navigation at a glance
Sidebar
Primary navigation. Access your workspace, key areas, and account settings.
User menu
Account settings, integrations, branding, and sign out.
Command palette
Press ⌘K or Ctrl+K to quickly navigate or perform actions from anywhere.
Help menu
Access onboarding, documentation, support, and release notes.
The sidebar
The sidebar is organised into three areas: workspace context, navigation, and account controls.
1. Workspace context
- Logo — return to Home from anywhere.
- Organisation switcher — available when you're connected to Forge and belong to multiple organisations. Switching organisations updates the playbooks, sessions, and content you can access. See Forge organisation sync.
- Quick actions — create a session or playbook without leaving your current page.
2. Navigation
| Destination | What you'll find |
|---|---|
| Home | Your dashboard, recent activity, and suggested next steps. |
| Playbooks | Active, completed, and archived playbooks. |
| Studio | Design and manage playbook templates. |
| Accelerators | Browse templates from the Marketplace. |
| Finance | Billing, subscription, and usage information. |
| Sessions | All sessions available to you across playbooks. |
| Artefacts | Documents, outputs, and reference material. |
| Tasks | Your personal task list across all playbooks. |
3. Account
- Help menu — onboarding, documentation, support, and product updates.
- User menu — profile, integrations, branding, and account settings.
The user menu
Click your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar.
| Item | What it does |
|---|---|
| Profile | Manage your personal account details. See Profile setup. |
| Integrations | Connect calendars, identity providers, video platforms, and other services. See Integrations overview. |
| Brand Centre | Manage organisation-wide themes, colours, fonts, and logos. |
| Sign out | Sign out of Gleo. |
Why is Brand Centre hidden? Brand Centre is only available when you're connected to a Forge organisation. If no organisation is connected, the menu item won't appear.
The command palette (⌘K)
Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K on Windows) anywhere in Gleo to open the command palette.
It's often the fastest way to navigate, search, or perform actions.
Try searching for one of these commands:
Create session
Start a new session with the current organisation already selected.
Go to Studio
Jump directly to Playbook Studio.
Sign out
Account actions are available here too, including organisation switching.
For a complete list of commands and shortcuts, see The command palette (⌘K).
Help
The Help menu includes:
- Intro to Gleo — reopen the onboarding guide at any time.
- Help centre — browse the documentation.
- Email support — contact the support team.
- Gleo news — product updates and release notes.
Tips
Collapse the sidebar for more space. You can still navigate quickly using the command palette.
Can't see Brand Centre? Connect a Forge organisation first. The option appears automatically when branding can be managed.
